The Indonesia Commodity and Derivatives Exchange (ICDX) plans a conference and exhibition in March to introduce its tin smelter members to potential international buyers and brief potential new buyer and seller members of the exchange on the functioning of its tin contracts.
The event will have the theme “Guaranteed Supply and Guaranteed Quality”. It will take place over three days on 10 – 12 March in Jakarta and Pankalpinang, Bangka and will include: a visit to the exchange; presentations on the Indonesian tin industry, the global market and the exchange; opportunities to meet local smelters at their exhibition booths; and smelter and warehouse visits in Bangka.
It is hosted by ICDX and Identrust Securities International (Clearing House) and attendance is by invitation only.
