ITRI’s next international tin conference will take place in Penang, Malaysia on May 13 – 16 2014. The event will be held at the Shangri-La Rasa Sayang hotel and is expected to attract some 300 delegates from around the world.
The key issues facing the tin industry will be addressed formally in the conference sessions on May 14 and 15, and there will also be visits to local tin operations and plenty of opportunities for networking.
While new themes and topics for discussion may arise between now and next May, it is clear that subjects such as supply constraints in the largest producer countries, investment in new projects, conflict minerals, substitution threats versus new applications opportunities and price prospects are all likely to feature.
